ABOUT

Mikaela Monet is a Venezuelan actress, singer, and creator whose work bridges music and film with authenticity and passion.

Most recently, the artist starred in “Becoming Vera”, a coming-of-age drama directed by Spanish filmmaker Sergio Vizuete, which continues to make waves on the festival circuit. The film premiered at the Cinequest Film Festival, where it reached the #1 trending spot and won the "Audience Choice Award". Mikaela’s performance earned her the "Best Supporting Role Award" at the Hollywood Park Film Festival, where Becoming Vera also took home "Best Picture".

Mikaela made her acting debut in the Amazon Prime Video original feature El Sueño de Ayer / Mambo Dreams, directed by acclaimed filmmaker Emilio Maillé and co-starring Mexican rock icon Rubén Albarrán. The film’s dual timeline gave her the opportunity to portray two leading characters—one set in the 1960s and another in the present day. Beyond acting and dancing, she contributed as a singer-songwriter, creating and performing three original songs for the film’s soundtrack.

Her earlier career as a recording artist earned her a Premio Lo Nuestro nomination for Best New Artist, sharing the category with artists such as Rosalía.

LA-based and training under Sal Landi, Mikaela is sharpening her skills and diving headfirst into daring new projects set to make noise on screen and stage. Currently based in Los Angeles, Mikaela continues to develop her acting career and take on new film projects, establishing herself as a versatile performer expanding her presence in both music and film within the international artistic scene.
